The Inter-Society for Electronic Arts (ISEA) is an international non-profit organisation that promotes the relationship between arts, science and digital technologies. Since 1988 ISEA has overseen a major international symposium taking place in various prestigious institutions across the globe biannually, moving to an annual cycle starting with ISEA2009.

The symposium fosters academic, industry and community dialogue and interaction aiming to explore creatively how emerging technologies change the way people live, think, communicate and work in the digital age, for example:

Gaming on mobile phones

Tracking human emotions with techno textiles

Social networking tools

Latest animation software

Post-human design

ISEA considers the full breadth of aesthetic, technical and scientific innovation driven by the digital revolution.

The symposium consists of three aspects of peer reviewed conference, internationally juried exhibitions and various in-association and partner exhibitions, events and interventions.
