I’m a producer currently in pre-production on OUTLAND, a sci-fi short, written and to be directed by Adina Istrate as her graduation project at the London Film School. Adina’s previous short, HALF MOON, starring Shane Rimmer (Dr. Strangelove, Batman Begins), screened to acclaim at international festivals and has been picked up by IndieFlix for online distribution.

Scheduled for shooting from 18th – 27th September in Buddon Ness on the Scottish coast, OUTLAND tells the story of Matthew, a lighthouse keeper living on a remote island, who wakes up to find that for reasons that escape him, everyone around has slipped in a comatose sleep.

So far we have raised one third of the budget (£3,500) and secured in-kind deals (Molinare have expressed interest in doing the post-production), set up a crowd-funding scheme and are now looking for partners and additional finance in order to realise this ambitious project.
