Event Description

How can Scottish businesses react to today’s radical changes in consumer behaviour as the internet becomes increasingly central to people’s lives? How should media and creative businesses position themselves to emerge from the recession in a winning position? Nobody knows the buying public better than the consumer organisation Which?, and in this seminar its chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith explains how he has transformed his own organisation, and how he believes businesses need to shape up for the future.

Places on this seminar are strictly limited to give delegates the opportunity to discuss the Scottish context in depth with Peter. Formerly a brand marketeer at Procter and Gamble and Mars, then a management consultant with McKinsey, Peter moved into charity work heading up fundraising for Oxfam and Cancer Research UK, before becoming chief executive of Which? in 2004.
