Yup once cracked for one sport could apply for any team game/event - pub teams darts/dominoes/pool/quiz teams.

Make it a 'sport team' app and it would have wider appeal. I am part of a group of 10 who organise badminton nights. Who's booking it? Who's coming. How many courts? and so on

Great idea. Bosman Bonanza! I think amateur/sunday league clubs would use something like this also, especially during the close season.

Maybe an idea for SICamp Scotland then. It wouldn't make a massive social change on the scale of wikipedia, but by the sounds of things there are a few people who would use it already!

A social app for contacting your fives pool, finding new members booking your pitch, booking a ref, issuing a challenge etc would be perfect. SMS to confirm time, venue, teams etc. I organised two sometimes three games a week for ten years and always wished something like this existed.

Yeh, Back of the Network or something. I also thought that there would be mileage in an app which, in one swift motion divides up your players into 2 teams. It's essentially heads or tails or numbers but would still be pretty cool.
