Category: Game & App Developers
Name: Play2Improve
Description: Play2Improve provides real-time coaching technology for video games (i.e. a virtual coach who gives you corrective feedback and advice as you play the game).

This is an effective way to develop your skills in a particular game and for developers to broaden the market for more complex games/genres.

When you are trying to learn a difficult skill in another domain, such as driving or a musical instrument, one-to-one tuition is the best way to do it - why should video games be any different?

I'm a certified Umbraco developer and highly experienced .NET programmer, specializing in content-managed web solutions with experience in social media. I often work with web design agencies who are short on these skills, and have experience working in a consultant/architect role for teams of in-house developers.

Web & Graphic Design: tinyv.com

Pixel pimping rich, accessible and ethical websites.
Enjoy partaking of digital illustration when opportunities arise.

Spotflick Ltd was set up to produce the Spotflick iApp but I have the resources to be able to deal with further productions of iApps or any animated project ranging from web based to broadcast quality content.
So I guess what I am trying to say is I am a Games and App Developer but if I can squeeze into two categories I can also provide animation services.
Capiche!

Web & Graphic Design: afterthenews.co.uk

Design across print, online and experience. Typically, this includes (though isn't limited to) identity design, websites, books and promotional materials. Our clients are primarily (though not exclusively) in the cultural and public sector.

thanks.

Paola me too! I find it 'different' on every site - and I am no expert at this Networking. Stumbling around and making it up as I go along :) Ho Hum...
Comment by Paola Di Maio on June 8, 2010 at 21:24
something must have gone wrong! I clicked on 'join directory' and I was expecting some box to write my company blurb, link etc (there is no category yet for my type of business, how do I create one?) Instead I receive a message that says ' you ve joined the directory ' - uh? but if I did not write anything? On second consideration, i see that people are writing their info in the comments section here. so heres category: Category: Business Intelligence Company Name: ISTCS.org; what we do: whatever it takes to provide critical operational intelligence across all sectors including social enterprises :-)

I'm with Lucy Kaya, a Screenwriters category would be great. In the meantime I'm interested in collaborations with genuine, committed people who are professional in their approach and take their role (but not themselves) seriously. Being able to have a laugh and a beer would also be an advantage.

All the best,

Ronnie Mackintosh
