Inner Ear Technical Support Job Specification
Inner Ear is a creative content communication company based in Glasgow. We've specialised in live streaming since we launched our internet radio station, Radio Magnetic, in 2001. Inner Ear provides live audio and video streaming of events, concerts, conferences, concerts, launches, gigs and festivals. We create and communicate content for clients including Channel 4, Creative Scotland, National Piping Centre, Scottish Enterprise, Tennent's Lager, Glasgow Life and Dewar's Whisky. We produce and publish podcasts, setup and manage webinars, shoot and edit promotional videos and documentaries, record and distribute audiobooks, research and write blogs, snap and share photos and design and display graphics.
Inner Ear are looking for someone to help with ICT and systems management and maintenance on a freelance basis. We would like someone to help us with:
Supporting and maintaining local server hardware and software infrastructure
Managing email, anti-spam and virus protection
Ensuring ICT equipment is maintained
Maintain/monitor network security and remote (web) server admin
General computer/ICT tech support
Maintaining client and company websites, e.g. updating Wordpress installations and plug-ins etc.
We anticipate a few days of review and admin initially and then perhaps one or two days per month ongoing, with additional help on an ad hoc basis as required.

Testers will need to input false information into teaching and learning profiles in order to build up enough data in the system for proper testing. They will carry out different user scenarios and take notes of any bugs or user issues they encounter in the interface. This will be reported back to developers for bug fixing and updating the user interface.
