IT support technician

Award winning Edinburgh full service agency Multiply has a vacancy for an IT support technician to support, maintain and develop our IT infrastructure and systems.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in managing PC hardware and software, networking, telephony and the day to day running of typical business IT systems. Task run from resolving individual PC hardware problems through to planning and running the agency’s ever expanding network.

Experience in website or iOs/Android app developing and hosting provision would be beneficial.

You will be working as part of our digital team, alongside our account management teams and in-house studio that include graphic and digital design, digital production and motion graphics/videographers. You will play a key role in supporting the account management teams and in keeping the key business IT systems running.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational & timekeeping skills
  • Excellent understanding of typical PC Hardware and Office Software
  • Excellent understanding of networking & Microsoft server technologies
  • Understanding of IP Telephony
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of complex information and requirements
  • Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
  • Great IT skills combined with strong  financial management to get the best from your budget
  • An ability to work pro-actively to implement improvements
