MediaGuardian's Edinburgh International Television Festival is a unique event created and planned by senior industry figures, for the international television and media industry. With the festival taking place in August, they currently have the following vacancies open:
The festival requires a diligent and organised researcher to join its team for a fixed 12 week contract. Working with the Editorial Producer and Advisory Committee members, the candidate will research session topics, make requests, and secure tapes/clips for use in Festival session VTs.
Full time position from 7th June to 29th August. Salary on application.

Organisation, negotiation, being able to prioritise and juggle multiple requests, meeting deadlines, comfortable dealing with outside organisations to request favours.

They're looking for individuals to volunteer as stewards between 22nd and 28th August 2011.
These are volunteer posts but travel, accommodation etc. will be covered.
Duties include:
Putting together all delegate bags and sorting all print; props buying for sessions; assisting with stage management and production; liaising with the venue manager to make sure all sessions run on time with the correct literature and props; meeting all delegates, seating them for sessions and checking passes; meeting and greeting speakers and moving them from the green room to session venues; and press office duties.
