Wanted: freelance editor

Twig is a dynamic multi award wining, multiplatform producer of education-linked factual films for international markets, based in Glasgow and London. We are looking to build a pool of senior editors to work centrally within production from our Glasgow studio. The ideal candidate should be local to Glasgow or within traveling distance, with solid experience of Final Cut Pro, including demonstrable experience of broadcast / commercial factual production. 

Twig produces 75-100 2-3 minute educational films a month on various subjects ranging from Science to History using archive footage and stills. We currently have 10 editors and are looking to expand this pool to accommodate future periods of increased workload. A high level of efficiency, organisation, and attention to detail is required as well as an ability to craft a dynamic edit from archive material. Work experience in a similar post production environment would also be a plus.
