Twig is a dynamic multi-platform producer and distributor of factual film and digital resources for the international education markets, based in Glasgow and London. We are looking to appoint a Junior Motion Graphics Designer to work within our Glasgow office. The ideal candidate should be local (or willing to relocate) to Glasgow, and have a strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, as well as Cinema 4D.
This role will support our busy Production department and will assist the Senior Motion Graphics Designer in illustrating key events and processes within our films. Excellent animation timing and visual attention to detail are key requirements as the role involves illustrating complex technical processes with factual accuracy within a set framework of an existing film edit.
The department outputs a high number of graphics on a daily basis; therefore excellent organisational skills are essential. The successful candidate will cover a variety of tasks including managing multiple renders of graphics, creating language reversions of our existing graphics for international markets and preparing elements of projects for delivery according to set guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate (mac), have a good technical mind, an ability to problem-solve and be extremely well-organised. Ideally the candidate will have experience operating large After Effects projects and be able to demonstrate good housekeeping skills in this area.
This job would suit a recent entrant to the sector with some previous graphics design experience. This is a full-time, permanent position within an exciting, dynamic and rapidly expanding company, with real potential for professional development. Starting salary of approx. £18,500 p.a. Please send a CV and a brief covering letter detailing your experience and ambitions to Andrew Cahn (via rtaylor@twig-it.com). Applications close on Friday 25th April 2012.
This opportunity is available in: Glasgow City
For further information, please contact rtaylor@twig-it.com (Rachel Taylor), or call 0141 353 7700, or visit http://twig-it.com. The deadline is Friday 27 April 2012 at 17:00.
