The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is seeking a talented, experienced and adaptable individual to assist our Graphic & New Media Designer in the final stages of rebuilding the orchestra’s website. We need someone who can work fast but with an impeccable attention to detail and creative flair. If that is you, then we have at least two months of ‘full-time’ work ready and waiting for you.

You will need to be set-up to work remotely but available to meet with us regularly at our office in Glasgow. The project is suited to an experienced freelance web designer with an impressive portfolio who would like to be involved in the latter stages of creating a site of international importance, for one of Scotland’s national performing arts companies.

It is essential that you have a proven ability with Adobe Creative Suite, a comprehensive grasp of CSS, HTML and a familiarity with PHP/MySQL. As you will be working with an open source CMS, knowledge of similar systems would be extremely useful. A love for Beethoven is not essential – you’ll soon catch the bug!

If you’re available now and can demonstrate that you can walk the walk, email David Stark, Director of Marketing david.stark@rsno.org.uk with a covering letter, CV and links. Closing date for applications: 11am on Friday 10 July 2009.

No agency applications please.

OK, so no takers then? We could still use someone on an occasional basis - if you're interested, drop me a line.
