The University is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to provide a full administrative service within the Screen Academy Scotland, a Skillset Film and Media Academy for the Screen NETS (New Entrants Training Scotland) programme. Building on a legacy of 30 years of the New Entrants Training Programme (NETS), Screen NETS is an advanced training programme to enhance and boost the skills, knowledge and contacts of new and recently entered practitioners in the Film and TV Drama Industry.
The Screen NETS project aims to place 5 film industry craft trainees onto film and television production placements and a range of short courses and continuing professional development opportunities.
The Placement Administrator will support the work of the project in administering and monitoring placements and short courses including those delivered by the Screen Academy Scotland.

To develop an application incorporating games, activities, multimedia and educational material tied to specific locations in Holyrood Park in order to help children learn about and appreciate the environment. The application is to be developed for the Apple iPhone series of devices, a list of the requirements for the app are listed below, however it is anticipated that the developer(s) would choose the specific techniques and technologies used in the creation of the app. The developer will also play a significant role in assisting with the design of some of the activities, and the application as a whole.
