Ruby on Rails Course at Stow College starting 14th November

For those of you that don't know Ruby on Rails is a web-development framework which helps you quickly create great web applications.

I'll be running 'An introduction to Ruby on Rails', a weekly evening course at Stow College on the 14th November. We will be running two sessions a week on a Monday and a Wednesday.

If you apply for ILA support you can get £200 towards the cost of the course £300!

More details on the site.

Great initiative Westie – the world needs more Ruby Programmers. Any idea what the average age/experience is for your courses?

Oh, forgot to include the link to the actual course page on Stow's site:

Hi Espen, Thanks!

There's no formal entry requirements but you should know at least one Object Oriented Language and something about relational database design.

The numbers on the course are going to be fairly low so I'm pretty confident I'll be able to give some one on one teaching.

Anyway, if anyone would like to apply but are unsure of their abilities then they should just get in touch!
