East Lothian entrepreneurs launch community broadband venture
A NEW community co-operative is pledging to deliver high-speed broadband to parts of Lothian that other providers can't reach.
Lothian Broadband has been set up by East Lothian residents Ian Smith and David Walls to provide next generation broadband to around 500 homes across the community that currently receive little or no service.

Power of co-operation will boost economy
Shared ownership is becoming 'mainstream' in the UK, according to Co-operative Development Scotland.
Sarah Deas, Chief Executive of the Scottish Enterprise subsidiary, was speaking ahead of the UK's flagship Co-operative Congress 2011, where she will chair a keynote session with national bosses of the Post Office and the National Trust.
