Hi everyone!
Last year myself, Will Adams and Rory Lowe (of Once Were Farmers) created Me and the Giants.
We've been hard at it, working with NESTA's Starter for six, Glasgow Uni, and Scottish Screen to produce some really special wee apps.

Me and the Giants main focus is on toddler parent interaction and education with our games/toys. We aim to create apps that not only entertain but aid the development of children as well as improve communication between parents and there children.

The New Direction for Flash

I've just reached a conclusion point with my recent project using Flash CS4, building a stereoscopic 3D painting App. Not massively big or complex, but still very nice, it even uses the Wiimote for input! (look at me being trendy).
Anyway, I was wondering what other creatives have found using Flash CS4 after using Flash 8, the change of UI and more importantly the addition of Actionscript 3.

Global Games Jam

Well this time last week I was taking part in the Global Games Jam, 48 hours of intense game development!
The GGJ is a yearly event where large groups of artists and programmers meet for the first time, get given a brief, then come up with some ideas and decide, what they want to make and who they want to work with for the next 48 hours. All in the space of a few hours, and usually with complete strangers!

A good endding to the year.

Well thats it for me, I've just finished my last project for the year.
