Your digital media passion?

The problem of communicating scientific knowledge to large populations is an intricate one. I believe that digital media can play an important part in helping people understand how science works and involving them in the process.

As a cognitive psychologist I collect data from peoples behaviour. I think it is only right that we complete the cycle by presenting these findings honestly and in a way that people can understand.

New media on the terraces

I had been talking to my friend Chris Willshaw after Ewans 4ip presentation at Edinburgh Uni business school last night and had mentioned how essentially a football crowd is a 'Flash Mob' in waiting. Lo and behold today I find that a group of researchers from the University of Glasgow are set to revolutionise football terraces with the help of mobile technology.
