Tell us what you're passionate about....: Hi,

my name is Mathieu and i'm an intern at central station.

I’m a musiciain and play guitar and keyboards in “ALBINo MoNK”.

What brings you to 38minutes?: I Studied graphic design and have a passion for stencil arts, photography and looping music. I’m currently working on an audio visual installation to be showcase in 2010.

I am passionate about arts and culture events . I frequently attend art events, seminars, and talks in venues such as the CCA, GFT, TRAMWAY, Trongate 103, Glasgow’s Arches as well as Street Level Photoworks and Transmission gallery.

These events help me stay in touch with the development of these venues and art forms they exhibit and provide me with an outlet to express my creativity.

I enjoy the first class discussions arising from these events, particularly when it involves performing and visual arts. These events also give me the opportunity to talk with artists directly and help me get a better insight into their work and work practices.

I Regularly blog and discuss these events with friends and artists, on online arts communities, such as Computer Love, Facebook, twitter and of course Central station. This helps me get a general feel of how people respond to different art forms and events, and how to better improve audiences’ experiences.

I’m a driven person, motivated by my sincere interest in the arts and relish the opportunity to be involved within such a creative organisation.
