Fluid Eye Productions is a growing film production company based in Edinburgh, working in fiction, documentary and the corporate sector. We specialise in drama for film and television, documentary, corporate documentary, scriptwriting, directing, producing, script development, marketing and distribution. Recent productions include "Half Way Home", a documentary for the Scottish Documentary Institute, nominated for the Scottish Documentary Award 2008; "Waiting for the 42" HD drama production, selected by British Council for representation to national and international film markets; "Run Tony Run!" winner of the BAFTA Scotland Best New Screenplay Award 2006. Also corporate documentaries for, amongst others, NHS, SACRO, BT and public sector.

I work for The Screenwriter's Agency, a non-profit-making Film and TV script development/promotion network based in London. I have written a pilot script for a long-running sci-fi series aimed primarily at a youngish adult audience that could be very suitable as an online/interactive production. The initial idea would be to produce a taster/teaser that could be used as a marketing/pitching tool with companies developing online drama projects. I am very open to suggestions regarding styles and formats and any ideas regarding networking/funding etc.

60 Second Shorts Film Competition

Fluid Eye Productions is sponsoring and judging this year’s 60 Second Shorts Competition run by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise.

The challenge this year is to make some kind of campaign/awareness raising film (could be scripted drama or documentary).

The prize is a brand spanking new Apple MacBook plus a free place on any of our Fluid Eye Productions industry training courses.

Are you an online update junkie?
