- I currently have two main websites, JimsPublishing.Com where I'm putting together my own products with a strong 'How to' focus, and my blog at JimMontgomery.Co.Uk where I'm showing people how to do things they didn't know they could!
- What brings you to 38minutes?
- I love being able to help people do things they thought were outside their capabilities and have found that streaming video is the prime way to achieve this. I like learning new ways to do things and best utilize available resources, and am very much an 'ideas' person.
I've created a course of over 70 video tutorials showing people how to use xSitePro website building software which is available via a membership site at xsitepro2madeeasy.com, and written a short book with accompanying embedded videos on online theft of ebooks - available at onlinetheftexposed.com.
I have experience in copywriting and photography, having carried out hundreds of reviews on people, products and companies for several local glossy magazines.
I'm not a techie, but have managed to teach myself how to build websites using Joomla, Wordpress, xSitePro and other editors to the extent that building websites for small / medium local business in Northern Ireland via a4magic.com has been my main business for a few years. I now feel that the way to go is not to build websites, but, where possible, to teach others how to build and manage their own websites.
My focus now is to concentrate on digital product creation, and explore new opportunities to use the power of the internet to educate others who need to use the internet but can't quite figure it out.
