ta for giving us so much time and energy yesterday. The informal format was fine for the group who turned up and industrialist was glad to have heard and met you too. Keep in touch.
Thanks! I'll let you know when "Darkness' Seed" is finished.
It's a Data Driven Drama concerning biological enclosure and financialisation.
It's inspired by Karel Kapek's "War with the Newts", a 1930's satire.
Welcome to Daniel & my tiny group-let on UWS. I admit we listen in to 38minutes and do most of our chatting on wosgamers.ning.com (which idea I stole from Brian Baglow, I confess.)
I am ever at pains to try and get my students to understand issues of IPR. When I worked in Dundee I got one Joanna Boag-Thompson over from Glasgow to do a legal chat to my students; it was quite terrifying to see how complex and jelly-like this area is (at least, to me).
If you wanted to do this it might be a way to meet us, and I could throw in quite a nice free lunch. We run pre-lunch-time seminars for our creative industries students and staff. Any day, any week would be good this term, generally speaking. Would you be interested?
I think we met briefly a few years ago at a music forum / question & answer event somewhere in the Borders - Hawick maybe? Of course, the most memorable thing about that event was seeing Mr Boom ask serious questions about copyright law!
