I could put a post up on our ning site (wosgamers.ning.com) for our students to have a play at it, if you want. That could give you some 'live' gameplay QA feedback from this group.
It kinda crosses a line between 'games' and 'gaming'. As such, different laws apply to your game than the usual ones for such as WoW or Gears of War. I don't think it would interest mainstream video gamers: they are after quick feedback excitement in seconds or less. They do do slower games, such as footie manager games, but these are very complex and statistical, as real sports are (I love cricket, but only because every ball is statistically significant in the entire history of the game!)
How can you ensure you keep your IPR safe. The idea seems obvious once its in the public domain?
Why Scottish football? Who not shinty / ozzie rules / rugby league / etc.? Is it a concept you are holding which can be rolled out further?
I remember that a certain DUndee games company had the idea of doing virtual horse racing. You place bets. Horses run virtually. You win / lose. The biggest potential scam since mugs were invented, IMHO! Yours looks like it is based on real data.
How do you make money out of the game?
Enough questions! Thanks for asking for input.
