That is fantastic news. I used to work with Theatre in Education going around schools highlighting moral and health issues. It was a great way to get them thinking and get them talking through the drama. Young people responded very well to this type…

Hi Priya,
Thanks for your message about Lost Penny. Did you get a chance to look at it properly?
It's doing quite well with users, seems to be the people we have playing it are really into it and determined to solve all the puzzles which is great.
Hopefully it will live on in some form or another... that to me is the big question about ARGs, how do we extend the window of involvement?

Cheers,
L

Mass Animation Update

I got this little message when I opened up Facebook the other day from LiveMusic (and I know it's only been two weeks or so since it had been launched but I'd almost forgotten about it - they did say to check back on the 24th November but I forgot - anyway the fact I only just got this message suggests that there wouldn't have been much for me to look at even if I had...)… Continue

Yawn.

I'm trying so hard not to give up on Kirill but it just seems like so much effort. Every time I watch it I wonder 'why' and not in the good intrigued excitable way but in the tired defeating why-do-I-bother? way. I wonder sometimes if I am missing something by not readi… Continue

Creative Collaborations - Intel's Creative-Driven Crowdsourced Computer Animation Project.

Yesterday, Intel kicked off a brand new project which relies on volunteers who don't know each other to work together to create a five-minute animated project.

A script has been written and broken down into 107 shots - it's called 'Live Music' and will be accompanied only by m… Continue

Getting to Nomi, Getting to Know You...

The second episode of Kirill is up and so I took a gander at the site and, despite not being too impressed by the episode (there's something about it, it's doesn't hook me in, I don't know what I'm looking for in an online drama but there certainly needs to be something... when the narrator tells me 'ten days is a long time', it's all I can do not to punch the screen and yell 'two minutes is a long time'). I think the thing is it has such high production values and it's got more going on… Continue

Kirill

Kirill is a new online drama from the Endemol digital lab and MSN. You can read a bit more about it and watch the trailer here.

The first episode was put onto the MSN Kirill site yesterday.

Now here's the bit that specifically interests me:
The storyline is woven into MSN's interactive tools, including the social networking site Spaces, its instant messenger tool Live Search, an
