Gandhi's flamous" We need to be the change we see in the world" rings true, we need to advance the progress made, as we speak, institutions are crumbling about us and in this moment we need to make a stand and speak up and help advance the cause of people over red tape, meaning over marketing, we need to stop perverting our creativity for consumerism and start making work that asks burning questions, to makes us feel alive, empowered and involved.
Digital media offers us these tools, we are in early days yet and we need to make every ounce of creativity sing out for a new way to connect and live.
Pause, breathe and know that there are alternatives.
Realising this I started MediaRumba.com. We are the new movement dedicated to empowering independent film and media production.
