James Bond Product tie-ins:

"The game, which features a range of characters from the forthcoming movie Quantum of Solace, offers five top prizes of £70,007 each." Geddit? ...£70, ...007: Brilliant.

And such an obvious tie-in James Bond and scratch cards. Why did nobody think of that before. Inspired.

Here's the coke ad too: (Weiden Kennedy hanging your flipping heads in shame.)…

Podcast PDFs from 38 Mintues site

This site is a fantastic resource for all the geek chat I need :) I'm finding so much textual that is incredibly useful - not just the networking opportunities. Just a suggestion, but if some of the text content could be produced into a pdf file that was pushed down an RSS feed, it would mean this content could be read when offline, or even printed off.

Ning subscribe to the Creative Commons license. Not sure about the specific terms and conditions of 38 mintues, but if it was made… Continue

Channel4's The Family

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2008/09/17/nosplit/bvtvwatson17.xml - If you haven't already seen this article, it's a good read.

Ok, it's easy to take pot-shots at Channel4's new show The Family, in the wake of mass criticism of the Big Brother legacy.

But does anyone else find the concept inherently distasteful? Here we have an ordinary British family. Ordinary indeed! Yet another group of fame-seeking individuals have found their way to Channel4.… Continue

It's podcast release time

Another day in the Podcastmatters office

We find that our podcast output peaks and troughs. We'll lock ourselves away in the editing suite for days and then reappear with several new podcasts to show for it.

To illustrate, here are some we're released in the past couple of weeks;

The Loughborough Difference podcast had details on how to… Continue

Question: is it ok that other countries have made their own version of facebook?

This has been a highly debated topic in our office, check out the Russian social networking site, which is perhaps taking it a bit too far as their site is almost identical to facebook, but should they be allowed to do this?

I know people are saying that these sites are clones and therefore shouldn't be allowed, but then surely we would then need to know who owns the idea of Social Networking?

Check out the top 10 international facebook… Continue
