SIPR = The Scottish Institute of Policing Research. I attended their third conference yesterday. The emphasis was on the discussion of community policing, a term coined by John Aldersham back in the 70s, and first met with scepticism, which is what I thought my meet mypolice too.

Last week I visited my gran in her nursing home. Having been so busy this year with graduating and various other things going on, I felt really bad that I hadn’t been to see her in a long time. The reason she was put into a nursing home was because she can’t quite take care of herself and she needs 24 hour care now.

It’s been a bit of a slow week for mypolice in certain respects. We had a few meetings but with a couple being forgotten about (not at our end) and one being canceled it really was slightly frustrating this week and a couple of real lessons.
