FilmCamp, Tues 28 Sept, GFT is supported by Creative Scotland, Skillset and Glasgow: Scotland with style. Free and open to all via registration on GFT site.

Firstly, BAFTA will be at FilmCamp Glasgow to meet attendees for a chat and some networking.

Secondly, here's some info for anyone who has asked about the Film4.com presentation:

Reflecting the impact and passion for cinema online – redeveloping Film4’s website

How do you reflect the wonder, impact and awe of cinema? Well, you create a design that allows the vivid imagery to take centre stage and esnure that the impact is apparent from the second you lay eyes on the homepage.

Cinema evokes passion, the need to discuss and give opinion on a film is core to the experience. This is reflected in the live voting system, social media integration and commenting throughout the site.

Not many people realise that Film4 also make movies. So the site celebrate's that much more. Even fewer people realised that Film4 also commission short films, usually from new directors, these are now viewable online.

The site include cinema trailers, exclusive clips, interviews and short programmes. They’re organised into sections to make browsing them easier. You can comment on any of the site content. There’s a lot of content to comment on, especially in the film database which contains around 20,000 reviews and 60,000 filmographies.

Hi Harry - sorry you couldn't get along. The event was filmed and we hope to host via Cardonald's YouTube page and Creative Scotland site. There are also various links arcived on the Twitter stream, that ran live and was projected during the event - #filmcamp10. We'll also see if we can post the presentations via the FilmCamp Glasgow LinkedIn group and SlideShare. Hope this helps.

I've only just found out about this and can't get the day off work, is there any way I can still be involved in some way or view the presentations?
