18 JUNE - BARCAMP at STV - OPEN INVITATION

BarCamp - 4.30-7.30pm - Fri 18 June, at STV (Pacific Quay), followed by refreshment and live World Cup match on big screen. Plenty of scope for post-event and post-match analysis.

BarCamp, in association with Interactive Scotland, will feature the latest digital innovation from STV, RealTime Worlds, Mediacom, Spotify, Facebook (TBC), Scotsman.com, Dog, Line, Whitespace, Innovation Digital, Spider Online, New Media Corp, Wildfire, w00tonomy, ISO Design, University of Abertay and the Scottish Government, with music from those cools chaps at Radio Magnetic.

First announced end March, stick this date in your diary - 18 JUNE - and tell your professional buddies as there's hopefully something for everyone (well almost). Watch this space for further details over coming weeks or joing the BarCamp Glasgow group on LinkedIn.

Aww shucks, thanks Colin. Loved you too in your last film even though you didn't smile much. No doubt due to Tom Ford, that other newcomer. No, seriously, any congrats MUST got to all of the terrific contributors who are giving up their time to pitch in and make this the best BarCamp ever.

I note the World Cup game that evening is the mighty Cape Town taking on some newcomer from the UK. Might be an interesting match. :)
