Cross Creative, TRC media’s pioneering training programme for top creatives working in digital media production is now open for applications. (Closing date Tuesday 14th July 2009)

Delegates on the nine-month fully-funded programme will attend monthly seminars led by industry experts and will explore the main opportunities and challenges in the arena both in the UK and internationally. These will be complemented by a field trip to Silicon Valley to meet with and be inspired by some of the world’s top digital innovators - companies like IDEO, Ning, Sonic Mule, Facebook, Lucas Arts, Electronic Arts, Lonely Planet, and Pixar.

With a focus on fostering potential collaborations and partnerships participants will be drawn from a range of exciting, highly innovative areas of digital media (e.g. games, animation, virtual worlds, cross media drama, interactive experience) and should be eager to explore ways of working collaboratively, keen to share with and learn from other companies and seeking lasting, mutually-beneficial working relationships.

The group of seven delegates on last year’s run included four 38minuters – Damien Smith from ISO, Nicola Black from Blackwatch Media, Joel Simon from Flickerpix and Kenny Shaw from Screenmedia.
