New Scottish Games Publisher Launched

Hi folks, I thought this was worth a post in its own right...

A new games publisher, focusing on social games (Facebook) and smartphones (Apple/Android) launched today, with an announcement in Holyrood by Alex Salmond.

Outplay is a start-up, founded by Douglas and Richard Hare, two experienced games developers, who have been working in the US for the last 15+ years, founding and managing The Collective and Foundation 9 Entertainment, two very large development studios.

The company's received funding from Pentech, the venture capital fund with a huge wealth of experience in the Scottish digital media market and the Scottish Investment Bank's Co-Investment Fund.
