that sounds familiar... here's an idea...
"all clients current and prospective... lets amicably sort out a brief and cashmoney, then I (the designer) will go off and do the work.... do even think about guiding me (the designer you are paying)... trust in the creative, technically minded designer to exceed you expectations n do a better job than you ever will... " ;)
